Come Out And See Me

Bio

How It All Started

Based in Los Angeles, California, by way of Cleveland, Ohio, comedy has always been in Joseph Adams’ life. In 2005, Joseph fell even more intensely in love with comedy, but blindness (caused by a medical condition known as Macular Degeneration) short-circuited a rising stand-up comedy career. During the seven emotionally stressful years that followed, Joseph feared he would never again see the light.

Happily, a very close friend, John White, rejuvenated JoJo during a comedy class they attended together. And, in spite of continued blindness, Joseph experienced a spiritual vision of watching himself perform onstage more brilliantly than ever before.

“When God took my sight, he gave me a lot of funny, and it makes me so happy to be on that stage to share it with a lot of people.” ─Joseph Adams
